D N Aidit Dipa Nusantara Aidit atau dikenal juga dengan D.N. Aidit adalah seorang pemimpin senior Partai Komunis Indonesia. Lahir dengan nama Achmad Aidit di Pulau Belitung, ia akrab dipanggil "Amat" oleh orang-orang yang akrab dengannya. Aidit mendapat pendidikan dalam sistem kolonial Belanda.

DN Aidit DN Aidit was born in 1923 in the small village of Kebon Agung, East Java. He was the son of a farmer and a housewife, and he grew up in a modest family. Aidit was a bright student and he was able to continue his education to the university level. He studied at the University of Indonesia and became involved in the student movement, which led him to join the Communist Party of Indonesia (PKI) in 1945.
