And he did. But when Br'er Rabbit hit the Tar-Baby, his hand got stuck. He tried to pull it away, but it was stuck fast. He tried to pull harder, but it was no use. The more he pulled, the more entangled he became. Br'er Fox came out of hiding and laughed. He said, "I told you you'd get into trouble if you messed with me."
