Years later, a young boy named Manaka Mukaido is sent to live in the same village where Yukiji once lived. Manaka has the ability to control water as well, and he is determined to find out what happened to Yukiji. He sets out on a journey, and along the way he meets a group of friends who help him on his quest. The friends travel to a faraway land, where they find a hidden temple. Inside the temple, they find Yukiji, who is being held prisoner by a group of evil spirits. The friends free Yukiji, and they all return to the village. Yukiji is reunited with her family and friends, and she uses her powers to help the people of the village.
