He was given one last chance to save his life. He could either commit suicide or be executed. Jing Ke chose to commit suicide. He drew his dagger and stabbed himself in the stomach. He died a hero, but his death did not end the Qin dynasty. King Zheng went on to become China's first emperor. Jing Ke's story is a reminder that even the most powerful men can be defeated by those who are willing to fight for what they believe in.
