The ghost is Yuuko Kanoe, the school's former student council president who died a few years ago. Sousuke is the only one who can see Yuuko, and she asks him to help her find out how she died. Sousuke agrees to help Yuuko, and the two of them start to investigate her death. They soon discover that Yuuko's death was not an accident, and they are determined to find out who killed her. As Sousuke and Yuuko get closer to the truth, they also start to get closer to each other. Sousuke learns to overcome his shyness and become more confident, and Yuuko learns to trust others again.
