Momiji Momiji debuted in Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword, released in March of 2008. Momiji is a frequent character of the Ninja Gaiden series as well as a regular member of the Dead Or Alive franchise and its spinoff DOA: Extreme. Momiji is a beautiful shrine maiden with ninja training who can also use weapons (i.e. nagitana) and ninpo to combat enemies. Her general personality off-battle is kind and motherly. She is the younger sister of the late Kureha (the previous miko) and the apprentice of Ryu.
