He uses fairly simplistic tactics, but has an ace or two hidden in his sleeve. He saves his strongest pokemon for last, and starts the battles out with his weakest pokemon. He understands type weaknesses and resistances and uses them to his advantage. His pokemons don't hold held items, and he doesn't use any consumables such as potions.
