It is very difficult to gauge his emotions by looking into his single cold red eye, which comprises his face and head. Though he can be susceptible to moments of emotion, such as anger at Starscream abandoning him to the mercy of the Autobots. His loyalty toward Megatron was without question, but he would tell Megatron if he ever disagrees with him.
