United Airlines 93 United Airlines Flight 93 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight that departed from Newark International Airport in New Jersey at 8:42 a.m. on September 11, 2001, bound for San Francisco International Airport. The plane was hijacked by four al-Qaeda terrorists who intended to crash it into a target in Washington D.C., possibly the White House.
