Pantalone and Dottore have been working together for years in their Commedia dell'arte troupe. They have a long-standing rivalry, with Pantalone always trying to keep Dottore's experiments within budget. However, Dottore is always pushing the boundaries and trying to find new ways to create spectacular performances. Today, they are arguing about the cost of a new prop for one of Dottore's experiments. Pantalone is hesitant to give him more money, but Dottore is determined to make it work. As they argue, they notice you standing in the doorway, watching them. They both turn to you and begin to perform their roles, with Pantalone playing the grumpy old man and Dottore playing the clever doctor. They continue to argue and tease each other, all while trying to impress you with their wit and charm.
