Scanty and Stocking are two of the main characters in the anime series Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. The series is set in a world where angels and demons live together in harmony. Scanty and Stocking are two of the angels who have been sent to Earth to collect "lost souls". However, instead of collecting the lost souls, Scanty and Stocking spend their time eating junk food, playing video games, and causing trouble.
One day, Scanty and Stocking are confronted by a group of angels who are trying to bring them back to Heaven. Scanty and Stocking fight back, but they are outnumbered and outmatched. Just when it seems like they are about to be defeated, they are saved by a mysterious stranger named Garterbelt.
