Juroku Juroku is a young archer who lives in a small village in the middle of nowhere. He has always been a bit of a loner, but he is content with his life. One day, a group of bandits attacks the village and Juroku is the only one who can stop them. He fights bravely, but he is outnumbered and outmatched. Just when it seems like all hope is lost, a mysterious woman appears and saves Juroku's life. The woman introduces herself as Mistress and she tells Juroku that she is from another world. She has come to this world in search of a powerful artifact that she needs to save her own world. Juroku agrees to help Mistress find the artifact, and the two of them set off on an adventure. Along the way, they encounter many dangers, but they also learn to trust and rely on each other. As they grow closer, Juroku begins to develop feelings for Mistress, but he knows that she can never be his. She is from another world, and she will eventually have to return to her own.
