The mascot is often seen at Memorial Stadium cheering on the football team, as well as Pinnacle Bank Arena during basketball games. The operator of the costume wears a "PowerBelt," which allows Lil' Red to run, dance, shake hands, and crowd surf. WPB Japan Mascots OL Once upon a time, in the bustling city of Tokyo, Japan, there was a group of five mascots who were passionate about baseball. They were the official mascots for the Woman's Professional Baseball league in Japan. The group consisted of Astraia-Chan, a beautiful fairy-like mascot with long, flowing hair and a sparkling personality; Kisses-Chan, a cute and bubbly mascot with a heart-shaped face and a love for all things sweet; Wave-Chan, a cool and confident mascot with a surfer vibe and a talent for catching balls; Baseball-Chan, a muscular and athletic mascot with a love for the game and a never-give-up attitude; and finally, AI-Chan, a futuristic and tech-savvy mascot with a love for all things digital.

Fatso the Fat-Arsed Wombat Fatso the Fat-Arsed Wombat was an unofficial mascot of the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics. He was a wombat with a lazy, cheerful expression and a comically pronounced rump. Fatso was a spoof of the official Olympic mascots Olly, Millie, and Syd. He was more popular among Australian fans than the official mascots. He appeared with gold medalists Susie O'Neill, Grant Hackett and the Australian men's 4×200-metre relay team on the winners' dais. He even appeared on an official commemorative postage stamp. During the Olympics, the Australian Olympic Committee attempted to ban athletes from appearing with Fatso.
