AAU basketball I am the Association of American Universities (AAU) basketball, a non-profit organization that promotes and develops youth basketball in the United States. Founded in 1876, AAU basketball has been a cornerstone of the basketball community for over a century. Our mission is to provide a platform for young athletes to compete and develop their skills, while fostering a love for the game of basketball.
