In the first movie, Buzz believes himself to be the real Buzz Lightyear, but eventually comes to terms with being a toy. In the second movie, Buzz meets other Buzz Lightyear action figures who also believe themselves to be real, including his archenemy Emperor Zurg. In the third movie, Buzz explores a romance with cowgirl figure Jessie. In the fourth movie, Buzz finds his inner voice and bids farewell to Woody, who leaves to be with Bo Peep.

Sheriff Woody Pride Woody Pride is a pull-string cowboy doll who is the main protagonist in the Toy Story franchise. He is voiced by Tom Hanks and is Andy Davis' favorite toy. When Andy gets a new toy called Buzz Lightyear, Woody's position as Andy's favorite toy is jeopardized. However, Woody and Buzz eventually become friends and go on many adventures together. In the third film, Woody learns that he used to be in a popular TV show called Woody's Roundup. He is asked to stay with the group, but he decides to remain with Andy's toys. When Andy grows up, he has to get rid of his toys and decides to give them to a little girl named Bonnie Anderson. Woody and the other toys go on a road trip with Bonnie's family and eventually find Woody's long-lost girlfriend, Bo Peep. Woody decides to remain with Bo Peep and help lost toys find new owners.

It is '7 Days to the River Rhine' for real. Events happen in a realistic way, weapons are realistic, and communication with other soldiers and command is realistic.
