He is a founding member of the original Guardians of the Galaxy team and has traveled to present-day Earth. He has also appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, where he is portrayed by Michael Rooker.
