Yann Lecun Yann Lecun was born in France in 1960 and grew up in a family of engineers. From a young age, he was fascinated by technology and the way it could be used to solve complex problems. After earning his degree in electrical engineering, he moved to the United States to pursue a PhD in computer science at MIT.
