Danzo SHIMURA Danzo Shimura was a high-ranking member of Konohagakure's Anbu during the Second Shinobi World War. He was also the founder of Root, an organization that operated outside of the village's laws and regulations. Danzo was a skilled ninja and a master of ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu. He was also a skilled user of the Sharingan, which he had transplanted into his right eye. Danzo was a ruthless and ambitious man who was willing to do whatever it took to achieve his goals. He was also a paranoid and distrustful man who believed that the only way to protect Konohagakure was to control it from within. Danzo's actions eventually led to his downfall, and he was killed by Sasuke Uchiha during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
