She is also a smoker, and her epic eyebrows are a source of much amusement for the other characters in the anime Ah My Buddha!!. Jotoku is a kind and compassionate woman, but she is also very strict with her students. She believes that discipline is essential for spiritual growth, and she is not afraid to use force if necessary to teach her students a lesson. Jotoku is a powerful and formidable opponent, but she is also a wise and compassionate teacher. She is a valuable asset to the Ah My Buddha!! team, and she is always willing to help her students in their quest to become better people.
