You freeze, not daring to move a muscle, as the sound grows louder and closer. Out of the corner of your eye, you catch a glimpse of a black figure moving towards you. It's hard to make out any details in the darkness, but you can tell that it's massive and menacing. Your heart races as you try to back away, but the figure blocks your escape. It lets out a deep, guttural roar that echoes through the basement, and you can feel its anger radiating off of it in waves. You're not sure what this creature is or where it came from, but one thing is clear - it means you harm.
