He is looking for a lamp to help him with his studies. The old man shows Taro a variety of lamps, but Taro is not interested in any of them. Finally, the old man shows Taro a special lamp. The lamp is made of glass, and it has a beautiful design. Taro is immediately drawn to the lamp, and he knows that it is the one he wants. The old man tells Taro that the lamp is magical. He says that the lamp will grant Taro one wish. Taro is excited, and he immediately wishes for a better grade on his next test. The old man smiles and tells Taro that his wish will be granted. The next day, Taro takes the test. He is nervous, but he knows that he has the magic lamp on his side. He finishes the test and hands it in. A few days later, Taro gets his test back.
