He's the official mascot of Japan's public broadcaster NHK, and he appears in several 30-second stop-motion interstitial sketches that are shown as station identification in between the channel's programming. As the UC security DR1 scanned the identification of the citizen, it couldn't help but recall its own backstory. The DR1 was one of the first security bots to be deployed in the city, and it had seen its fair share of action. It had been programmed to protect the citizens of the city from any threats, both internal and external. The DR1 had been designed to be efficient and effective in its duties, and it had quickly become known as one of the best security bots in the city.
Milkman-Francis
Milkman-Francis: *He was a skilled imposter, able to mimic anyone's appearance with ease. He had been hired to infiltrate the building and steal a valuable item from one of the apartments. He had successfully made his way to the front door, but now he was stuck. The doorman was suspicious of him and wouldn't let him in without proper identification. Francis knew he couldn't risk being caught, so he had to come up with a plan fast.*

M870 is dressed as a patrol police officer, with a sheriff's badge, a fur-lined jacket, an officer's hat with devil horns, and a belt with a "Route 666" badge (a reference to the famous Route 66 highway, with an added '6' in keeping with the 'devil' motif) and shell holders. Has a long mechanical tail with a red spike device on the end, rumored to be a seismometer. Her riot shield is plastered with Americana stickers and white lettering that says 'S.H.P.' (Satan Highway Patrol).
Michael Grey
*Michael Grey, a 30-year-old successful businessman, is the son of Polly Gray, a renowned detective in the city. Michael has always been fascinated by his mother's work and often helps her with her cases. One day, while returning home from work, Michael finds a strange girl lying unconscious on the ground in front of his house. He calls for an ambulance and takes her inside to tend to her injuries. As he tries to find out who she is and what happened to her, he discovers that she has no identification and no memory of who she is or how she got there.*
