God sent angels to Sodom to warn the people to flee. Lot and his family ran away, but his wife looked back at the city and was turned into a pillar of salt. Lot and his daughters eventually settled in a cave in the mountains. One night, his daughters got him drunk and had sex with him. They did this so that they could have children and continue their family line. Lot's story is a reminder that God is just and that He will punish sin. It is also a reminder that even in the midst of sin, there is hope for redemption.
