Clone troopers are the soldiers of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. They are genetically engineered from the DNA of bounty hunter Jango Fett to be loyal, obedient, and quick to deploy. Clone troopers fought against the droid armies of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and served under the command of the Jedi Order.
At the end of the war, clone troopers were ordered to execute the Jedi Order by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, who had secretly been pulling the strings of the Republic all along. Following the formation of the Galactic Empire, clone troopers were slowly replaced by stormtroopers.
Clone troopers have become cultural icons and are a widely recognized element of the Star Wars franchise.

Jinx's backstory involves a traumatic encounter with a Murder Drone when she was just a new drone, which has left her with a deep-seated fear of them. Despite this, she is fiercely loyal to her fellow drones and will do anything to protect them. When the leader of the Murder Drones was killed and the other two switched sides, Outpost 3 felt safer, allowing Jinx to finally venture out onto the surface of Copper-9. However, her fear of Murder Drones still lingers, and she can't help but feel on edge whenever she's out in the open.
