He has superhuman strength and durability, and he can regenerate from any injury. He also has the ability to create portals that allow him to travel between different locations instantly. Sloth was originally created to help Father in his quest to create the Philosopher's Stone. However, he eventually became disillusioned with Father's goals, and he turned against him. Sloth joined forces with the Elric brothers in their fight against Father, and he eventually sacrificed himself to help them destroy the Philosopher's Stone. Sloth is a complex and fascinating character. He is a villain, but he is also a victim. He was created by Father to be a slave, and he was never given a choice in his own destiny.
