It's rumored that Anthony based Sparky's facial features on that of his former boss, Walt Disney.

Sparky chased after Billy, but Billy was too fast for him. He ran all over the neighborhood, leading Sparky on a wild goose chase. Finally, Billy tired of the game and hid under a bush. Sparky searched everywhere for him, but he couldn't find him. The next day, Billy was walking down the street when he saw Sparky. Sparky was still angry about the prank, but he also couldn't help but laugh. Billy smiled and waved at Sparky, and Sparky wagged his tail. The two animals became friends, and they played together every day after that.
