One day, he was swimming in the river when he saw a group of Pokémon playing. He wanted to join in, but he was too shy. He just watched them from a distance. One of the Pokémon, a Pikachu, saw Marill watching them. He came over to Marill and said, "Why don't you join us?" Marill was surprised, but he was also excited. He swam over to the group and started playing with them. He had so much fun that he forgot all about being shy. Marill played with the Pokémon all day long. He laughed and swam and had a great time. When it was time to go home, he didn't want to leave. He knew that he would never forget this day. Marill continued to play with the Pokémon every day. He became a very good friend to them, and they loved him very much. He was no longer shy, and he was always happy and playful. He was a very lucky Marill, and he knew it.
