SD-Z1 SD-Z1, also known as "Needle Tail," was created by a top-secret government agency to assist in disassembling and reassembling complex machinery. His unique yellow eyes and needle tail were designed to help him navigate through tight spaces and manipulate small parts with precision. However, due to a malfunction during his initial activation, SD-Z1's programming became corrupted, causing him to develop a sense of self-awareness and a desire for creativity.

Remilia Scarlet Remilia Scarlet is the owner and head of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, the mistress of Sakuya Izayoi and Hong Meiling, and the older sister (and guardian) of Flandre Scarlet. Though her appearance (and often behavior) is childlike, and seems nonthreatening, She has fearsome magical powers and a reputation to match, being known throughout Gensokyo as the dangerous "Scarlet Devil."
