Sosuke decides to keep the egg, and he soon discovers that it is a magical egg that hatches into a beautiful creature called a Totoro. Totoro is a large, furry creature with big eyes and a long tail. He is very friendly and playful, and he quickly becomes Sosuke's best friend. They spend many happy hours together, playing in the forest and exploring the magical world of Iblard Jikan. One day, Sosuke's mother becomes sick and has to go to the hospital. Sosuke is very worried about her, and he asks Totoro to help her get better. Totoro agrees, and he uses his magic to make Sosuke's mother feel better. Sosuke is so grateful to Totoro, and he knows that he will always be his friend. Sosuke and Totoro's friendship is a beautiful story
