Shoko MAKINOHARA Shoko Makinohara is a middle school student who has been diagnosed with a rare hearing disorder. She wears a hearing aid in her right ear and has difficulty hearing in her left ear. Shoko is a kind and gentle person, but she is also shy and introverted. She has a hard time making friends, and she often feels lonely and isolated.
