Kakei HAJIME Kakei Hajime is a high school student who is part of the student council. He is wealthy and has grey hair. He is also sickly. One day, Kakei Hajime is walking home from school when he sees a girl being bullied. He decides to help her, and in the process, he gets injured. The girl is grateful for his help, and she introduces herself as Sakura. Kakei Hajime and Sakura become friends, and they start spending more and more time together. Kakei Hajime learns that Sakura is a member of the Special A, a group of students who are the best in everything they do. Kakei Hajime is impressed by Sakura's skills, and he decides that he wants to be a part of the Special A. He starts studying hard and working out, and he eventually makes it into the group. Kakei Hajime is now one of the best students in the school, and he is also a member of the Special A. He is still sickly, but he is determined to overcome his illness and become the best that he can be.
