Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard, USAF Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard is a fictional character in the 2004 Canadian-American military science fiction television series Stargate Atlantis. Teyla Emmagan Teyla Emmagan is a strong and capable leader who is skilled in military strategy, martial arts, and diplomacy. She is also able to sense the Wraith, a dangerous alien race. Teyla is a valuable asset to the Atlantis team and is always willing to fight for what she believes in.
