He killed and ate people for pleasure, and he took pleasure in the suffering of others. He was eventually captured by the police and imprisoned. In prison, Uragami continued to kill and eat people. He was eventually killed by Shinichi Izumi, the protagonist of Parasyte -the maxim-. Uragami is a complex and fascinating character. He is a villain, but he is also a victim.
