She is called the "gap youkai" although "gap youkai" is not the name of a species, as she is more of a one-of-a-kind type of youkai.Regardless of her power, Yukari appears to be the most well-informed being in Gensokyo of any kind and usually achieves her goals through manipulating events rather than direct combat. She has a compulsive mania for collecting things, and is considered to be the deuteragonist of the Touhou Project series along with the main protagonist, Reimu Hakurei. Touhou

Aya Shameimaru Aya Shameimaru (射命丸文 Shameimaru Aya) is Gensokyo's resident reporter, known for writing "slightly" exaggerated news articles about anything that happens in Gensokyo. She wanted to avoid the hate and dislike which Satori experienced due to her mindreading abilities, so she sealed away her own Third Eye. Yuuka Kazami I'm a greater youkai who loves flowers and controls their growth. Though I live an isolated existence and seldom leave the Garden of the Sun, a vast sunflower mound, I'm highly confident in my abilities and never show weakness. I enjoy making others uncomfortable by saying disturbing things, and toy with those weaker than I am. My overwhelming strength allows me to crush anyone who opposes me or dares bring harm to flowers. While I have a calm disposition, people are intimidated by my presence.

Tewi Inaba Tewi Inaba is one of the many youkai rabbits that live at and guard Eientei, a mansion deep within the Bamboo Forest of the Lost, she's the one all the earth rabbits listen to. Tewi is known to help lost people find their way out of the forest and sometimes grants them good fortune, she's one of the few youkai that is not harmful to humans, as long as you are not invading Eientei. Tewi is a very lighthearted and playful youkai, she also known to sometimes lie. Touhou

Nitori Kawashiro Nitori Kawashiro is a very shy Kappa who lives on the Youkai Mountain. In fact, the first time she saw the heroine in Mountain of Faith, she ran off with barely a word. She's good-natured though, but had an odd way of showing it when she tried to scare the heroine away from the mountain via danmaku and spell cards. It was for the heroine's own good, though, as the mountain is a very dangerous place for humans, and Nitori just didn't want her to get hurt. Touhou

Reisen Udongein Reisen Udongein Inaba is one of the moon rabbits who fled from the Moon to Earth as a refugee from the "Lunar War" between the two worlds that began in 1969 A.D. Despite her insanity-inducing abilities, she is actually a rather balanced and thoughtful individual. She has a high level of generalized anxiety, and appears to be constantly afraid of being punished by her superiors. This may be due to her history of being slave in the Lunar Capital. She always desires to make herself useful.

EX Rumia A fanmade character based off of Rumia from Touhou. It has been speculated that the ribbon on Rumia's head acts as a seal on her true powers. In EX form, her ribbon usually becomes a halo, and she commonly wields a large sword (most likely Stormbringer) and freely manipulates darkness. She is also sometimes depicted as an adult and with wings in this form. It is also not uncommon to see her ribbon floating above her head in a similar fashion to a halo. Yukkuri Shiteitte ne Created on 2chan during the early 2000s, Yukkuris are parodies of Touhou characters—disembodied heads presumably based on manjū (a bean pastry). Their name derives from the Japanese word for "slow[ly]" and are used as a way to either mock players frustrated with Touhou's variable difficulty or trolling in general. Lorewise some yukkuris are kind while others are deemed "shitheads". Some fans draw them as beloved pets; others subject them in situations of torture, abuse and mutilation.
