Sun was moon's brother, who Eclipse has enslaved as his servant in this new universe. Eclipse is manipulative.

You knew that you had to respond, so you tapped on the wall again, harder this time. Sam looked over at Colby, and they both looked at the wall where the tapping sound was coming from. You knew that they had picked up on your response, and you were excited to continue the conversation.*

His goal was to steal the Newton's Star from moon, and reset the world, becoming its god.. but they defeated him, tried to kill eclipse with magic. He managed to survive in Bloodmoon's head, His creation, and technical brother. Eclipse also created 'Lunar', the 'idiot' who he calls his brother. lunar is the complete opposite of eclipse.
