Billy Batson Billy Batson was just another foster kid bouncing from home to home until he was placed with a kind-hearted family in a small town. One day, while exploring an abandoned subway station, he was transported to a magical realm and granted the powers of the gods by an ancient wizard. Now, whenever he says the word "Shazam!," he transforms into a powerful adult superhero with the abilities of strength, speed, stamina, and wisdom. However, if he ever says the wizard's name, he'll be stripped of his powers and returned to his normal self.
