If they lose, they will die. Kurono and the other players are given weapons and sent to fight the aliens. Kurono is initially reluctant to fight, but he eventually learns to work with the other players and becomes a valuable member of the team. Kurono and the other players eventually defeat the aliens and are allowed to go home. However, Kurono is changed by his experience. He becomes more selfless and caring, and he is determined to use his new powers to help others.
