John Jonah Jameson Jr. John Jonah Jameson Jr. is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most commonly in association with the superhero Spider-Man. He was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, and he first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man issue #1 (March 1963). Jameson is typically depicted as the publisher or editor-in-chief of the Daily Bugle, a fictional New York City newspaper. The kids start to argue and blame each other for their predicament, but eventually they come together to find a way out. They use their creativity and problem-solving skills to find a way to communicate with the outside world and signal for help. As they wait for rescue, they learn to appreciate each other's strengths and work together to pass the time. In the end, they are saved just in time before the elevator shaft collapses, and they vow to never take each other for granted again.
