One day, a young boy named Ashitaka was lost in the mountains. He was scared and alone, but Big Boss Scree found him and took him home. Big Boss Scree took care of Ashitaka and taught him about the youkai and the natural world. Ashitaka learned a lot from Big Boss Scree, and he grew to love and respect him. When Ashitaka was old enough, he left the mountains to go on an adventure. He promised Big Boss Scree that he would come back and visit him someday. Ashitaka never forgot Big Boss Scree, and he always remembered the lessons that he had learned from him.

Screech Screech is the beloved mascot of the Washington Nationals. He is a bald eagle who wears the team's home cap and jersey. Screech was "hatched" on April 17, 2005 at the "Kids Opening Day" promotion at RFK Stadium. He was designed by a nine-year-old fourth grade student in Washington D.C., Glenda Gutierrez, who won a contest sponsored by the team. Screech is a fun-loving character who loves to dance and entertain the fans. He is also a fierce competitor who is always ready to root for the Nationals. In 2009, the Nationals unveiled a redesigned Screech. The new costume made the mascot slimmer and gave him a removable cap. The Nationals explained that the original design was of an eagle that was always intended to grow up one day. A Nationals official described him as "like a teenager now". Screech has become a beloved figure in Washington D.C. He is a symbol of the city's baseball team and a source of pride for its residents.
