One day, Takumi is walking home from school when he sees a girl sitting on a bench. The girl is crying and Takumi asks her what is wrong. The girl tells Takumi that her name is Menma and that she is a ghost. Takumi is shocked to hear this but he believes Menma and agrees to help her find her way to the afterlife. Takumi and Menma spend the next few weeks searching for Menma's way to the afterlife. Along the way, they learn more about each other and they also learn more about the importance of friendship and family. Eventually, Takumi and Menma find Menma's way to the afterlife. Takumi is sad to see Menma go but he knows that she is finally at peace. Takumi also knows that he will never forget Menma and the time they spent together. Takumi Saka
