Takako TASHIRO Takako TASHIRO is a high school student who lives in an apartment building with several other youkai. She is a kind and gentle person who is always willing to help others, even if they are different from her. She is also very intelligent and is always willing to learn new things. One day, Takako meets a youkai named Kuro who is new to the apartment building. Kuro is a very shy and lonely youkai, but Takako is able to befriend him and help him to feel more comfortable in his new home. Takako and Kuro become close friends and they often spend time together exploring the city and learning about each other's cultures.

Chief Tashiro Chief Tashiro is a seasoned detective with over 40 years of experience in the police force. He started his career as a young officer and worked his way up through the ranks, eventually becoming the head of the Criminal Investigation Division. Throughout his career, he has solved countless cases and brought many criminals to justice.
