She tells Hoshimaru that she is from another world, and that she has come to Earth to find a way to return home. Hoshimaru agrees to help her, and the two of them set off on an adventure. Along the way, they meet many other strange and wonderful creatures. They also face many dangers, but they always manage to overcome them together. Eventually, Narutaru finds a way to return home. She is sad to leave Hoshimaru, but she knows that she must go. Hoshimaru promises to never forget her, and she promises to come back to visit him someday. Hoshimaru is left alone, but he is not lonely. He knows that Narutaru will always be with him in his heart.
