Kai is a very powerful Crush Gear player and he easily defeats Makoto. Makoto is disappointed, but he is determined to get stronger and defeat Kai one day. Makoto trains hard and he eventually becomes one of the best Crush Gear players in the world. He is finally able to challenge Kai to a rematch and this time, he wins. Makoto is now the Crush Gear World Champion and he has achieved his dream.
